The Tasting Room
With a large stone fireplace and access to our expansive patio overlooking the vineyard, the Tasting Room is ideal for private parties up to 50 people.  Ceiling beams and posts made of reclaimed wood allude to the winery’s heritage as an apple barn dating back to the 1890′s. The wall opposite the fireplace looks into our wine barrel room. Soft lighting and a spacious tasting bar round out this cozy, elegant space. The Tasting Room is available between the hours of 6pm and midnight. The tasting bar may also be used for your event.
The Audrey Blackford Room
The Audrey Blackford Room is located on the second floor of the restored farm building that also houses the winery and Tasting Room. This elegant ballroom has a vaulted ceiling, dimmer switch lighting, a large stone fireplace, and an outside deck with stunning views of vineyard, valley, and the Appalachians in the distance. Stairs from the deck lead down to our patio area. The Audrey Blackford Room is ideal for wedding receptions and large gatherings such as corporate dinners and private parties, with seating space for up to 150 people. A catering kitchen, private dressing room, and two restrooms are conveniently located across the hall. The Audrey Blackford Room is available from 7 a.m. until midnight.
The Lawn
The Lawn is a large outdoor grassy area adjacent to the winery and tasting room with spectacular views of the vineyards and mountains. Tents can be placed on the lawn. Barren Ridge Vineyards reserves the right to use preferred tent rental service.
The Patio
The Patio is easily accessible from both the Audrey Blackford Room and the Tasting Room. This space offers unobstructed views of the vineyard and mountains and includes ample outdoor seating. Beautiful landscaping, a pergola, and an outdoor fireplace round out its list of features. Globe string lights lining the pergola create ambient outdoor lighting after the sun goes down. Use of the patio is included in the fee for renting either the Audrey Blackford Room or the Tasting Room.
